St David's Day at Croeso Festival

On March 1st, Sunflowers Wales celebrated St David’s Day at the Croeso 2025 Festival in Swansea.

It was another wonderful opportunity for us to express our gratitude to the people of Wales for the warm welcome we have received here! In these challenging times, support and solidarity mean more than ever to Ukrainians, and we were deeply moved by the kind words from so many people.
It was a busy and unforgettable day! From the stage, we showcased Ukrainian dances, songs, and music, while dozens upon dozens of visitors indulged in the sweet world of Ukrainian cakes. We were also proud to take part in the beautiful traditional parade.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made us feel like part of Wales’ great community. We were proud to have raised over £1,230, which will go towards supporting paramedics and hospitals in Ukraine!
A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, who baked, crafted, and worked tirelessly at the stalls, to our talented performers, and to everyone who joined us and stood with us for Ukraine!
